“Anāhata”
The Sanskrit word “ANAHATA” means “unharmed” or “unstuck” it is the 4th chakra of the Kundalini , which is found near the heart where the divine “SOUL” resides. It’s a beautiful chakra that serves as our center for kindness, compassion, forgiveness and love. The heart chakra is represented as a lotus flower with 12 petals, which represents the heavenly qualities of the heart. Its main component is air, which is connected to the skin’s receptor for the feeling of touch. While its mudra is the one we picture Lord Buddha holding, it resonates with the mantra “YAM”.
Our Story
The journey that led to Anahata started with a desire to enhance one’s inherent attractiveness and a dedication to a healthy lifestyle. I started down a transforming path with over 25 years of expertise as a Cosmetic Dentist and advanced training from NYU in Cosmetic Dentistry. My mother’s passing away due to pancreatic cancer served as the impetus for me to develop daily-use cosmetics devoid of chemicals. I looked for natural alternatives after doing a lot of research on the negative consequences of chemicals connected to cancer. However, there weren’t many options available on the Indian market. This prompted me to enroll in a natural cosmetics making course in India. I felt the need to study in-depth and know what are the trends in the world and how I can learn more about natural ingredients and formulations of products.
So enrolled in The School of Natural Skin Care International (UK) and studied Natural – skin care, hair care, advanced serum formulation, natural mineral makeup and advanced natural makeup. The amazing findings highlighted the potential of natural substances after becoming a qualified formulator and rigorously testing products on willing friends and family members. At the age of 52, I made the decision to start a factory that produces efficient, secure, and customized cosmetics especially for Indian skin type because its different. Beyond becoming a prosperous Dentist, I understood that my calling was to educate, raise awareness, and make natural products accessible in India. Our goal is to empower people through formulations that celebrate the distinctiveness of Indian skin, fostering not only aesthetic appeal but also general wellbeing by incorporating natural and safe products in their daily life.
